Classes run Monday to Saturday during term time. Class levels are just a guide – please get in touch to discuss which class would be most suitable for you. Pilates classes are £11 each booked in blocks (usually 5-7 weeks). A full term of classes must be paid for in advance – if you are unable to attend a class for any reason, you can use the Swapboard system to choose another class so you don't miss out. We cannot offer reduced fees for missed classes.


All new students attend an introductory session in the studio before confirming their place. Please book here.

Please click here if you attend a regular class and would like to swap a class using the Swapboard. You may also book extra drop-in classes (£11) but ONLY if you are already booked on a weekly class.

Introduction to Pilates

Each term we run a session for people new to pilates. We will take you through the basics, find out about your fitness and posture and assess which class is suitable for you. These workshops are £25 for an hour and a half and will be advertised on the Alfriston Pilates Facebook page and are on our booking system here.

Pilates Level 1
Beginners – Improvers

Start here to learn the correct techniques and basic pilates movements at a comfortable pace.

Pilates Level 2
Improvers – Intermediate

You’ve mastered the basics and gained some strength so it's time to move on with the exercises.

Pilates Level 3
Intermediate onwards

Now you know the exercises you can work through the Pilates repertoire at a faster flowing pace.

Gentle Pilates

A gentle, supportive class mainly for the over 60's or those recovering from injuries.

Men's Pilates

A class specially designed for the male body, focusing on strength and flexibility.

Power Pilates

Workout for strength and stamina in these higher intensity, fat burning classes.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Yoga postures and pranayama (breath work) are woven together with flowing movements to create space within body and mind.
